Birth: 09th January, 1973, at village Shyamganj under Purbodhola upazila of Netrokona district.

Education: B.Sc.Ag and MS in Plant Pathology from Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh. Master of Nematology from Ghent University, Belgium with VLIR scholarship. 

Work: Worked as Senior Officer at Sonali Bank from 1998 to 2001. Joined Bangladesh Civil Service (Agriculture Cadre) in the year 2001 passing 20th Bangladesh Civil Service examination.

Travel: India, Belgium, France, Switzerland, Italy, Netherlands, Germany, UK, Singapore.

Spouse: Rupali Bhadra, Home Manager. M.Sc in Geogarphy and Environmental Science.

Children: Progga Parijat Das (2006) & Suprotiv Das (2011).

Father: Late Prof. Sudhir Das. Besides teaching Bengali literature at Mymensingh College, he was involved in many cultural and social activities. He was one of the architects of shaping the dance-drama ‘Mohua’ in modern form. He performed the role of ‘Boyati’ many times in country and abroad. He was the Staff Officer of Mujibnogor Government during great liberation war of Bangladesh.
